Another Farm Progress Show has come and gone, and what an accomplishment it was! This year visitors noticed something different on the AGCO lot. We turned the entire AGCO lot into a scaled-down version of a farm to demonstrate new ways to tackle the complex challenges of farming. We offered up the latest innovations from our brands, plus we showed how to get more from your operations using AGCO’s next-generation approach to precision ag technology.

AGCO Farm

Phil Jones, Manager, Brand Marketing North America, walks you through the AGCO Farm in this video:

Another feature found on the AGCO Farm was “Follow the Seed,” a live theatrical presentation of AGCO innovation at work on a farm. We followed the story of how one farmer unleashed the potential of Bud the Seed. It’s about serious solutions, but it’s told in an unexpected way. See for yourself in this video:

Not to be forgotten was our educational series hosted in the Fuse™ Technologies pavilion. We offered a series of presentations covering a range of issues including technology, productivity and profitability. • Was disappointed not to see any agco merchandise for sale at the show. Was planning on getting some gleaner, challenger, and sunflower gear! Please consider bringing it back again!
    • We will certainly pass this info on to our North American Marketing team in hopes of bringing back the branded merchandise for next year. Thanks so much for your feedback. -AGCO
  • Great job this year display looked amazing and can't wait to see what new products and methods come out next year

  • I did not attend the 2014 Farm Progress Show but wanted to pass along comments I heard from co-workers and others who did attend. Although the display was attractive we believe it may have missed the mark on who the target audience was. Producers who are interested in purchasing the equipment on display want to get up close and personal with it. The setup, along with weather conditions, made it difficult to get under and all round the machines as producers like to do. All the fencing forced alot more steps to get from one machine to another. I did see many pictures of the display and agree with my co-workers who were there that the display seemed more educational than sales oriented. It appeared to be geared more toward those not familiar with the operations of a modern farm.
    • Thanks for your feedback. We'll pass it along to the our North American Marketing team. Wishing you a successful harvest this year!
