Visitors to the Valtra stand at Agritechnica last November had the chance to use their creativity and support farming in Africa at the same time.
The centrepiece of the stand was the new N113 HiTech tractor, which visitors could customise to their liking by adding their fingerprints and signatures in paint. Almost 6500 people took the opportunity to leave their mark.
The customised “fingerprint”-tractor will be sold on Thursday May 24 by Ritchie Bros. at their auction site in Meppen, Germany. To participate you can either bid live at the auction or online. For more information visit the auction website www.rbauction.com
Proceeds to Weiveld Agriculture School in South Africa
With the proceeds Valtra will donate a new A93 HiTech tractor, custom-built to the needs of the school, technical training as well as other materials and tools.
The school offers studies in agriculture, technology, hotel and restaurant management, and data processing to approximately 600 students.
Co-operation between the local Valtra importer and the school will also continue after the donation.
Here we have Rene Van Driel, Product Marketing Manager, giving us a tour around the Challenger stand and its key products. While at Agritechnica, Challenger celebrated 25 years on tracks by launching the Python MT865C and also 50 years of spraying, with the new RoGator 600B. The Challenger stand attracted a lot of people at the event, all keen to see the new products on show.
What was your favorite thing about the Challenger booth at Agritechnica 2011?
Gaston Haesen, Product Support Specialist for tracked tractors, gives us a tour of the Challenger MT700C. This is a tracked tractor which boasts more traction than wheeled tractors because of the long surface on the belt when in contact with the ground. The weight of this tractor is divided across the tracks which, as well as transferring power to the ground more efficiently results in less soil compaction.
Hubertus Von Dungern, Product Marketing Applications Manager, presents the new RoGator600B. This machine has been designed, developed and engineered to the highest standards, from its chassis to its spraying system. The RG600B is powered by the latest generation, economical AGCO SISU Power engines. The suspension system offers industry-leading features and the spacious cab provides exceptional operator comfort.
Here at Agritechnica, Frank Rombouts, Business Development Specialist, gives us a tour of the Challenger RoGator 1396. This machine features a drive package that allows you to match speed to field conditions more efficiently. The RG1396 is built to provide a working environment that will sustain the operator for long working periods. Technology and performance upgrades offer even more versatility to enhance performance. Overall, this is very reliable and efficient machine, for multi-season use.
