Massey Ferguson Across America – MF 6400 – Tobacco in North Carolina

This summer, the Massey Ferguson high-horsepower team hit the road for a tour across America interviewing different farmers who own Massey Ferguson. We wanted to hear feedback from the customers about our tractors and what we are selling them.

On our Massey Ferguson Across America tour, we visited Joel Pace in Archer Lodge, North Carolina. Joel is an owner and operator of a Massey Ferguson 6400 who grows tobacco and soybeans. He said the best thing about being a farmer is being his own boss and seeing just how good he can grow a crop. Without the help of his Massey Ferguson tractor, Joel says this would not be possible. “This tractor gets the job done from planting, to cultivating, to harvesting; we use it from start to finish.”

Watch the video below and see what Joel thinks about his Massey Ferguson tractor and how it helps him get the job done in the field.

Make sure to visit the Massey Ferguson row crop tractor configuration tool. How does your Massey Ferguson help you get the job done?

Caroline Coarsey

Hi, my name is Caroline Coarsey, intern for Massey Ferguson high horsepower tractors. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Communication and have been with AGCO since June 2011. Growing up in south Georgia in a farming family, I have had the opportunity to see how important agriculture is to our economy. My dad farms row crops and his passion for farming and growing something healthy is a passion that has been passed down to me. We eat every day and that food comes from our farmers in local communities where every day there is something new to fix or another crop that needs more irrigation. It is because of farmers like my dad that I love working in this industry and I’m grateful that AGCO gives me this opportunity.
