Habitat Flats: Farming for Fowl

Tony Vandemore and Dan Daugherity plant a crop each spring. Their harvest, however, doesn’t so much spring forth from the soil, as it comes from above, in the form of ducks and geese. Check out how out this Missouri hunting destination has bagged its own share of success AND worldwide fame. (Hint: AGCO equipment is a big part of their formula.)

Hannah’s Hill Winery

In southern Arizona’s ruggedly beautiful Huachuca Mountains, Jim and Ann Gardner have realized their dream of starting a winery. Soon, they’ll take another big step and begin building a home on their 40 acres, powered by a “can’t-wait” attitude and a Massey Ferguson 1560.

An Argosy of Massey Ferguson

Brian and Shannon Ussary keep plowing ahead, literally and figuratively. They farm as many as 1,500 acres in any given year, using Sunflower tillage tools and White Planters, as well as a fleet of Massey Ferguson tractors. Brian thinks so much of the latter brand, he’s restored 27 vintage tractors that he shares and shows throughout the Midwest.

The Buoyant Berry

A fifth-generation grower helps dispel the myths and decipher the mystique of the modern cranberry farm. Learn how the Bennett family has adapted with the times and innovative technologies, as well as put their trust in AGCO and Massey Ferguson.
