AGCO participated in The New Diesel Technology Diesel – Clean Air for California.
The showcase event was held on February 28, 2012 in Sacramento, CA and was a street-side outdoor, partially-tented public event adjacent to the Cal EPA building on 11th Street in Sacramento. The display included agricultural and construction equipment, heavy-duty trucks and technical engine stand displays, light-duty pickup trucks and cars, after treatment cutaways and related information. Other activities included a press conference featuring the ARB Board Chair, the Engine Manufactures Association and top OEM representatives and a Chairman’s Technology Forum on diesel health research. The AGCO Challenger MT 600D Tractor was on display. This Challenger® MT600D Series Tier IVi-compliant tractor from AGCO Corporation is designed to deliver superior productivity and efficiency for professional farmers feeding the world. And it does so without many of the tradeoffs that have been required to meet U.S. EPA and CARB emissions standards in terms of cost, reliability and fuel efficiency.
