Gleaner Combines with e3 SCR Technology

OEM Off-Highway recently wrote an article on the new Gleaner Super Series combines in the U.S., calling them “nimble, clean, and super-sized.” The new Gleaner combines are the first Gleaners to use AGCO SISU POWER engines with e3SCR technology in a harvesting application. You can read the entire article and learn about the cab comfort, ease of maintenance and more if you follow the link below. You can also visit the Gleaner Super Series Website.

“As the first fully Tier 4 Interim-compliant combine on the market, the S7 Series (comprised of the S67 and S77 combines) is powered by the AGCO SISU POWER 8.4 CWA-4V liquid-cooled, turbocharged engine featuring AGCO’s e3 SCR technology. More fuel efficient at higher horsepower ratings than previous models, the Model S77 delivers 370 hp at 2,100 rpm.

The rear-mounted engine of the S7 Series distributes weight and results in less noise and vibration, while the large walk-in engine compartment offers better accessibility for service and maintenance. The machine also features a four-speed hydrostatic transmission and heavy-duty final drives for reliability. The rear adjustable steering axle and factory- or field-installed rear wheel assist (RWA) keep the combine moving through soft fields.” Source: OEMOffHighway.com – Article – Nimble, clean and super-sized
